Blessed are the Children was inspired by the request of a man whose wife had recently suffered a miscarriage. While the pain of losing a child is overwhelming, this painting was created to bring hope and comfort to all. Jesus said, "let the little children come unto me" and we know that children were close to Jesus' heart. What a beautiful demonstration of Jesus' love for all children.
