ARTIST NOTE:

The image of a working person has always been a source of
inspiration. From the age of twelve, I would always work some moderate to heavy labor job during the summer months between school years. I did this through college as well until I found my artist's legs. Even though I may have done this for a short season of my life, I knew those who labored all their lives or until age or injury took it's toll. I was fortunate that I was able to be a part of the physical work force and extremely fortunate that I was able to leave it for a career that I truly love.
