ARTIST NOTE:

The Journey is an attempt to bring together two very common themes that run throughout the Bible and man’s relationship with God -the theme of a pilgrimage and walk toward God and the idea of leaving the darkness behind and moving into the light. We find that these concepts really go hand-in-hand and occur simultaneously as we travel through life.

My goal in painting this piece was to encourage those who are “walking the walk” and to show those who have yet to meet Jesus Christ that “He is the Way, the Truth and the Life”. When we know that He walks with us and waits for us, we may truly have peace now and in life to come as each of us travels on our own “journey”.
