ARTIST NOTE:

This painting was commissioned by Multnomah Publishers, who published The Prayer of Jabez, the enormously successful book by Bruce Wilkinson. It was used in a cropped/vingnette format on the cover of the illustrated Gift Book version, as well as a series of limited edition prints that were signed by Bruce and myself. It was a pleasure to meet Bruce and he was a very gracious and quiet man. I remember that he was in awe of the celebrity status that had engulfed him due to the books success, but as you would expect, he gave all the glory to God.
