SYNOPSIS:

Always attests to the truth that as children grow into adults, they will not remember the small skirmishes between themselves and their parents, but they will remember the bond of love that time or hardship could never break. As parents, it is important to see children as the precious "gifts from God" that they are and then to love them unconditionally and always (Jeremiah 31:3). This painting was created for the cover of Tell Me the Secrets.

ARTIST NOTE:

Some words carry great weight when used…such as “forever” and “always.” These are words that ought to be chosen very carefully in any conversation, decision, or promise. We sometimes use them flippantly when wanting to emphasize a point. Usually we wind up regretting it. There is one situation that does warrant using the word "always." It is when we want to emulate the love God has for us to our children. In Jeremiah 31:3, God says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love." He carefully chose those words so that we could not mistake His permanent intentions towards us.
