SYNOPSIS:

Created for the book cover of Angelwalk, this painting illustrates the story of an angel who requests permission from God to go to earth and find the devil to see if he is repentant and finally ready to come back under God’s authority. God grants his wish and therefore, the title, “Angelwalk.” DiCianni brilliantly captures the essence of the book drawing readers in and giving insight into what lays in the pages ahead.

ARTIST NOTE:

When I am given a script to illustrate, normally a publisher will ask me to read only the highlighted portions they think would make a good cover and portray the book best to the viewer. Angelwalk was written so grippingly real that I read the galley cover to cover. For weeks, I couldn’t get the imagery of the descriptive scenes of the evil the devil and his demons do behind the scenes of our “reality.” Bottom line – Satan isn’t looking to give up his futile fight against God and his interest is more diabolical than any of us can imagine.
