"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, and he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26 KJV
There must be a good reason why Jesus referred to the Holy Spirit as a “Comforter” and why today we call a quilted blanket by the same name. Just like a blanket, this third part of the Trinity wraps itself around us, keeping us secure and warm; free of fear and full of peace. The Holy Spirit constantly reminds us of God’s presence and that His arms are around us, embracing and protecting us.
