TPI IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF A NEW DIVISION AIMED AT BRINGING CHRIST-CENTERED PRODUCTS DIRECT INTO THE CONSUMER’S HOME
Madison, WI – Under the leadership of Sales Director Leonard Piontek, Tapestry Direct begins operations on March 15, 2005. The goal of this revolutionary new division is to reach out to consumers who typically shop outside the traditional brick-and-mortar marketplace. Tapestry Direct will be responsible for all of Tapestry Productions' direct-to-consumer sales including Internet and catalog sales. As an exciting expansion of the original direct-to-consumer concept, Piontek began to implement a home-based sales group that will bring the Tapestry family of art-based products direct into the consumer home. Formed under a significantly different model than many traditional home-based sales networks, Tapestry Direct-to-Home seeks to help consumers use Christ-centered art products to decorate their homes and at the same time proclaim their beliefs through the décor of their home.
This new division of Tapestry will be based in Wisconsin and will debut in the Midwestern states before moving across the country in the coming years. The goal is to have direct-to-consumer home sales teams set up under regional directors in every state by the end of 2006. The initial launch will include approximately 200 products from more than two dozen companies. This diverse offering from such noted authors and artists includes products from Ron DiCianni, Max Lucado, Jerry Jenkins, Thomas Blackshear, Michael Dudash , Tim Botts, Joni Eareckson-Tada, Integrity Publishers and Mama Mellace’s Old World Treats.
